• Immortality is to live your life doing good things, and leaving your mark behind.
• For me, the martial arts is a search for something inside. It's not just a physical discipline.

• The Legacy of Brandon Lee
Through tragedy sometimes comes change. It's a new Hollywood today, at least as far as firearms safety, and Brandon Lee is never far from my thoughts every minute of my day. Every time I pick up a gun in front of an actor, I inspect it for safety - including checking the barrel for obstructions - and then I show the actor what I am doing and what makes the gun safe. When we are using a revolver on set, I carefully check it to make sure it is empty, point it away from everyone and as a final test, pull the trigger once for every chamber. Sometimes actors ask me why I meticulously pull the trigger exactly eight times, even when there are only six chambers. To this I reply, "Six is for you; the seventh is for me, and the eighth is for Brandon Lee.
